i caught you and your father, serendipitiously, on the news last night. i am inspired by what you have done, as a son who knows his father, as a person who knows his rights. i'd like to applaud you. i know the truth will come out when voices such as yours struggle to be heard.

you're in my thoughts.

i don't follow the news that much lately that is why up to now, i reserve my opinion on the matter (not that it is needed anyway). but while this whole controversy seems to be clouded in doubt at the expense of the integrity of a lot of people who may or may not have anything to do with the alleged bribe, there is one thing i certainly believe in- sincerity. i felt it in here. its too much to wish that columnists won't write haphazardly as they sometimes do, but sadly in this case, being a prosecutor is like a daily struggle to prove everyone wrong. the tainted reputation of offices similar to your father's is a difficult presumption to rebut. but nevertheless, it can be done. your father will be very proud of you for taking that brave first step in doing what every lawyers should constantly strive to do- uphold the integrity of the profession.
