to james buhion: thanks. actually, UP Diliman fielded teams in the ICPC even before UP ACM's inception. unfortunately, we lost to the better-funded Ateneo teams. one of UP ACM's present goals is to hone our ICPC skills through our local &lt;a HREF="http://www.upacm.org/activities/activity.jsp?id=2005&#38;title=acmpc" rel="nofollow"&gt; programming competition&lt;/A&gt; and &lt;a HREF="http://www.upacm.org/activities/activity.jsp?id=upcoming&#38;title=balloonfight" rel="nofollow"&gt; summer training&lt;/A&gt;. :)</description>
